Carla Brewster

You can say I grew up in the insurance business. My family has been involved in the insurance industry from my great-grandfather to myself. I am very proud to be the fourth generation to continue on in the family business.
I started working at Brewster Insurance a few years after earning a B.S. degree from Indiana University. In 1985 I came into the agency to fill in for my grandmother, Nina Brewster, who had been injured in an accident. She then retired and I stayed on as the agency’s receptionist. In 1987 I became a licensed insurance agent and in 1996 purchased my father’s stock in the agency.
Prior to joining Brewster Insurance I worked as a receptionist and bookkeeper. I use that bookkeeping knowledge today in the agency.
